“Slamming the wasps from the pure apple of truth”

- Chris Morris

  • I don’t have set opening hours. I’m basically here when I need to be. As a rough rule of thumb though, I’m typically in from around 11am until 6pm, Monday til Friday. Get in touch and I’ll 100% do my best to work with you to make drop off and pick up happen.

  • I work away sometimes. Mostly between March and October. I can be away for 7 to 14 days. That’s why I recommend allowing 3 to 4 weeks to find a slot. I do keep a waiting list so if any bookings or road trips go sideways, I can give you a shout and try to get you in sooner.

  • This is a tough one. Quick answer is that I’d prefer it if you didn’t. I’d certainly say always talk to me first before buying elsewhere. Often I can do deals on parts plus labour - especially when you’re looking at a new groupset. If parts are bought from me it includes warranty support, sound/honest advice and piece of mind that the parts are suitable/compatible.

  • I no longer have a booking system. If you want to get in touch regrading work, use the contact form on the website, drop me an email or use Instagram messages.

  • Unless other wise agreed in advance it’s between 11am and 6pm Monday to Friday.

  • My expertise and experience are with high end road, gravel, TT, track bikes and racing wheelchairs. I do most work on MTBs but droppers, shocks and forks get sent away for servicing at the appropriate service centre. I don’t work on e-bikes of any kind and I don’t work on Scooters.

  • No. I’m not always here. Torvelo is not a public space.

  • Short answer is no. Torvelo is not as public space. There’s a couple of decent cafes nearby (Willow Grove & Ocho).

  • I don’t have one. Every job is unique and a set price list doesn’t really fit with the type of work I do. The job is the job and your paying me for my time. We’ll talk through the work when you drop off your bike. If necessary I can give you a rough idea of costs and I’ll keep you in the loop if things change.

  • Yes I can. I tend to partition off smaller jobs and book a few in on the same day of the week. It means I can give builds and larger services my full attention to ensure the work is up to the standard I want to deliver. Get in touch and I’ll see what I can do.
